With over 18 years of experience teaching piano and voice lessons through her music school, A# Melodies, Michelle has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and helping them find their voice—both on and off the stage.
Michelle holds a BFA in Theater Arts with a concentration in theater, musical theater, music, dance, and visual arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is also a certified Montessori teacher, bringing her expertise in child-centered education to her work with students. Her diverse background in the arts and education enables her to create a holistic learning environment where creativity and individuality are celebrated.
Originally from New York and now based in Florida, Michelle has performed, directed, and produced over 100 productions throughout her career. Her extensive experience in the performing arts world has shaped her vision for The Harmony Children’s Theater Company, where she fosters a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
As the co-founder of The Harmony Children’s Theater Company, Michelle combines her love of the performing arts with her commitment to inspiring confidence, creativity, and collaboration in every student. Her mission is to offer a space where imaginations can thrive, talents can flourish, and lifelong friendships can blossom.
Beyond her work in the arts, Michelle has been married to her high school sweetheart for the past 28 years, mother of two adult children, and an advocate for holistic wellness. When she’s not teaching, directing, or creating, you can find her offering her holistic expertise as the owner of The MenoMama, where she educates, supports, and guides individuals from menstruation to menopause as a certified Doula.

A seasoned professional with a background in teaching, camp management, and non-profit outreach, Kelly has dedicated over 20 years to empowering children through engaging, meaningful, hands-on experiences in arts and education.
From leading dynamic summer camp programs to managing outreach events that educate and engage communities nationwide, Kelly has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact. She designed and led multi-disciplinary camps in Science, Art, and Performing Arts/Musical Theater, creating unforgettable experiences for children each summer.
In her most recent role as a leader in the travel tech and non-profit sectors, Kelly leveraged her skills in project management, communication, and team leadership to foster meaningful partnerships that served both local and international communities. She has a strong background in education, having taught children and young adults in diverse environments, from elementary school classrooms to international programs both domestically and in China.
Her work has always focused on building strong relationships—whether orchestrating educational events or leading teams of dedicated staff and volunteers for various community-focused initiatives. Along with her leadership and organizational expertise, Kelly brings a creative spirit and a deep love for the arts, ensuring that children not only learn but thrive in an environment that celebrates their unique voices and talents.
With a Bachelor of Science in Child/Adolescent Psychology, and a love for all things musical, Kelly is excited to contribute her energy and skills to The Harmony Children's Theater Company and encourage young performers to grow, gain confidence, find their purpose and shine.
Kelly has been married to the love of her life for 20 years and she and her husband have 4 children and 2 daughters-in-love. Their family moved to Harmony in July 2024 after living in Tampa for many years. Kelly homeschools her 2 youngest children- her son is 12 and daughter is 13. As a family, they enjoy day trips to Disney, watching movies and spending time together- whether it is at home, exploring the streams and mountains in Tennessee or adventuring to a new location. Kelly’s hobby of baking sourdough bread has spilled over to a small business, which she loves as it provides opportunities to bake for others and meet new families in Harmony.

For the past 20 years, I've owned A#Melodies, where I've shared my passion for music and theater with children. This unique blend of qualifications and experiences allows me to create a warm and nurturing environment where your child can discover the joy of music. I'm here to help your child embark on a magical adventure, offering not just instruction but a heartfelt connection to the world of imagination.
I provide private 30 or 60-minute lessons right at your doorstep, offering convenience and personalized instruction in the comfort of your home. Additionally, I offer remote lessons, ensuring continuity even during illness or inclement weather.

If you happen to miss a lesson, don't worry, your lessons don't expire, so you have options for rescheduling. We can easily add time to future lessons, select a different day that works for you, or simply save your lessons for a month without generating a new invoice. However, please note that lessons are not made up if you are not at home when I arrive for an in-person session. Unfortunately, missed lessons are not credited, and tuition is non-refundable to ensure fair and consistent scheduling.

The yearly material fee (private music lessons) you pay covers a comprehensive range of materials for your music education. This includes all your books, sheet music, and even NYSSMA sheet music, ensuring you have everything you need to excel in your musical journey.
