Private lessons in the comfort of your home
Private lessons in the comfort of your home
My mission is to celebrate the profound impact of music in our lives. I believe that music is not merely a source of joy, but a powerful tool that enriches all of our existences. It plays a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of our children, providing them with a means to learn, express themselves, and find solace in the face of life's stresses.
Music is the canvas upon which we paint our creativity, a sanctuary where emotions like love and empathy find their truest expression. I consider music a precious gift, one I give to my students, a gift that serves as an unwavering anchor in times of uncertainty. My aim is to spread the awareness of how music shapes well-rounded individuals, offering us a refuge that feels like home, a place of comfort and solace, even in the midst of life's storms.
With 20 years of teaching experience, I'm deeply committed to sharing the joy of music with your children. As your dedicated piano and vocal teacher, I'll come to your home to provide personalized lessons for your children. In our 30 or 60-minute sessions, I'll guide them through the intricacies of music theory and performance. My sincere goal that your children not only master the piano and vocal skills but also develop a profound love for music, which will be a cherished part of their journey through all of life's stages and challenges.

If you're a parent seeking the perfect place for your child's musical journey, I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the ideal guide. As a certified Montessori teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in nurturing young minds and helping them explore the world of music. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, my approach to teaching is not only educational but also deeply artistic and engaging.
But I offer more than just music lessons; I am also a certified life coach, dedicated to fostering personal growth and well-being in your child. And, as a certified menopause doula, I understand the importance of life transitions, which can be an essential life lesson.
For the past 18 years, I've owned #Melodies, where I've shared my passion for music with children. This unique blend of qualifications and experiences allows me to create a warm and nurturing environment where your child can discover the joy of music. I'm here to help your child embark on a musical adventure, offering not just lessons but a heartfelt connection to the world of melodies.
I provide private 30 or 60-minute lessons right at your doorstep, offering convenience and personalized instruction in the comfort of your home. Additionally, I offer remote lessons, ensuring continuity even during illness or inclement weather.
If you happen to miss a lesson, don't worry, your lessons don't expire, so you have options for rescheduling. We can easily add time to future lessons, select a different day that works for you, or simply save your lessons for a month without generating a new invoice. However, please note that lessons are not made up if you are not at home when I arrive for an in-person session. Unfortunately, missed lessons are not credited, and tuition is non-refundable to ensure fair and consistent scheduling.
My rates are subject to change, so I recommend getting in touch with me directly for the most current pricing information. I offer multiple convenient payment options, including Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, personal checks, and cash. Please keep in mind that tuition is due on the 27th of each month, and your lessons will be considered secure once the payment is received by the office. It's essential to ensure timely payment, as any tuition that is 14 days late may incur a 10% late fee, and any missed lessons are not eligible for make-ups.
The yearly material fee you pay covers a comprehensive range of materials for your music education. This includes all your books, sheet music, and even NYSSMA sheet music, ensuring you have everything you need to excel in your musical journey.
